Have you done some outdoor decorating for fall? It is feeling a bit more like the start of winter around here already! Hopefully all of our wonderful pumpkins will survive the cold for a bit longer. Remember my parents’ beautiful fall home tour full of antiques? Find it here for a refresher. Today I am finally going to share all of their great outdoor decor! They have a lot of fun with bales, corn shocks, pumpkins and gourds. They live just off of a busy highway. I hope that all of the people passing by get as much joy from seeing it as my parents do from creating it.

A Closer Look

My dad calls this little guy Mr. Silly! LOL

A variety of colors, shapes and textures in your gourds and pumpkins can really create an interesting fall display.

This great old brick mailbox was saved from destruction when some major road construction was done on the property. My parents made sure that it it was not destroyed and moved it closer to the house. It has become the focal point of a little area to decorate.

You would not believe how often they have to change out the corn cobs for the squirrels! They find them quite entertaining.

My momma painted both of the little signs. 🙂
This one is a framer.

I am so in love with this I can’t even tell you. My dad found two of these fantastic pillars recently. They flank the little sidewalk leading up to their house. What a perfect pumpkin perch!!

I can’t get over the gorgeous natural aging of this pillar.
It is hard to believe how soon Halloween and Thanksgiving will be here. There are still farm stands full of amazing pumpkins and gourds. It is not too late to add some fun outdoor decor for the holidays!
I look forward to hearing from all of you every week. This little blog has truly been a joy. Be sure to subscribe to my email list to receive my new posts as I write them!
